Looking to buy the 28-70 Century Compact Zoom T3 also known as 28-70 Century/Minolta T3.0

i have not seen one in a while, i wanted to buy one to match my centry 17-35 that i just bought. nice lens. (by the way, would you be interested in buying the 17-35?, i love it but i need the money) i just bought mine new from Schneider. it was the last one, probably ever, because it's almost impossible to find the canon zoom which it is based on anymore. i got a really great sample, but i also have a angenieux rouge, and it's one or the other.

actually, i wend a different way. i sold the 30-80. may or may not get the 16-42, but it is looking less likely.

I have an Optimo 17-80 T2.2 sitting on the shelf. Beside me no one is using it.
I want a small size zoom like the 28-70 to complete my 17-35.

i know what you mean. my 30-80 was sharper and contrast-tier than the my 17-35, but i love the size and weight of that 17-35. plus, if my camera is going to sit on a closet as much as it does, i rather it sit with a cheaper lens on it.
