Apple better have something huge up their sleeve if this program is half as cool as it sounds - i may switch over to premier pro.

It was a really good night, lots of prizes. (I was late on the April fools, so enjoy this)

I think that last line pretty much says it's a joke....... And would they really call it Adobe Rainbow? :biggrin:

Yes, boys, looks like we've been had. ;-}

The last line (Was that in there when this was first posted? I don't think so.) and the fact that a Google search for "Adobe Rainbow" produces nothing...

Adobe's new color grading tool is insane. Its called Adobe Rainbow. Personally I think they just fully copied all of Autodesk Lustre tools, with a much simpler forward Adobe tabbed interface and workflow. Adobe has surpassed all our expectations. it has everything you can imagine on a timeline based interface. every thing is drag and drop. You drag an AE, PPro, or FCP XML composition, it just opens up in the timeline all layers intact, you cant do major effects in there just basic conform and transform tools. It has an advanced tracker they just newly added to AE, LUTs, sliders, wheels, scopes, galore and to top it all mercury playback engine. The presentation was done by colorist Andrew Frances from Efilm, the colorist who did "Band of Brothers" with Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. He showed us a project shot on Red-MX he was grading, the thing is twice as fast as resolve in 4k 1/2 res. I t just blew our minds away. It also accepts third party plugins. THey also showed the New AE, sorry no Mercury Playback, just some really cool workflow enhancements including native stereoscopic 3D. It was a really good night, lots of prizes. YOU ARE EVIL!
