Hmm, see the new posts while posting. To me it does not matter so much, I am often drifting away, I often just read recon, and am more skeptical of the community because as Emanuel says, fanatics. Variouse newer members that turned up before scarlet was released and after it was announced, have left me, coldly, less than impressed in intelliegence (to read think and interpret simething, ideal for a forum) and put, politely, pomp. The truth and persuit of it, progressive analysis and conversation and helping others, suffers, not good for a technical forum. We now get one liners and sentences, maybe a paragraph, that people like me have to spend heaps of time making the world a simpler place for them. If nobody likes talking discussing and analysing, a technical forum on the art, is not the place for them, a social one is.

Please, have free and open low end and advanced forums for each production category, to allow similar people to group together.

I'm really thinking that an Epic owners only setting would be best. Others can look, only registered owners can post. That would be fair to all. Maybe have a noobie forum as part of it for intelligent questions. I found the forums to be very valuable before I received my Red One, and even more so before my two Epics arrived.
My two cents. Plus a vote for subscription at (almost) any cost is OK by me.

This is a really terrible idea. This is a site for people who use RED cameras, not just those who own them. To be fair, with your system we'd have to kick out David Mullen (ASC), for example. I had a chuckle thinking about how you want to send non-owners like him to a quote "noobie" forum!
