  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Working with Premiere and Smoke

looks like autodesk is realizing how much of a contender premiere is now. Adobe has really come a long with with Premiere, i still remember using 5.0...

Good timing.. Yesterday I downloaded Smoke's trial and tried to play with it.. I've always used Adobe (and I'll continue), but lately I have been tempted by the idea of using Smoke for two reasons:
- Do it all in one program for most of my works. (I'm aware that Smoke can't beat every program in its specialty). I'm very good at Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop, but staying in one program sounds tempting, especially when there is no pro Adobe solution for Color Grading (and hearing the rumors that Lustre will be part of Smoke)..
- I trust Autodesk (like I trust Adobe) and I know it will continue to make Smoke better and better so investing (time and money) in it will be a good move for the future..

P.S. Jake, it's true that I have thought about Smoke for a long time, but your posts made me take the first real step..
