I was editing a piece for a client and all of the sudden it won't save (Error Message) So I look in the file where all the footage/assets are and my drive won't show the contents? I can still edit on the time line cause the footage is on the drive that is acting up. I don't wont to quit but I really have no idea what to do. I can't loose this drive has very important things on here. Need help thanks!

Out of curiosity, what brand of drive is it? For what it's worth, I've never had any issues with G-Drives, my network swears by them... as well as all of the places I freelance edit. Hell, any music video I've directed, the DIT always used G-Drives. I've also had solid results with WD. Lacie has failed and Seagate is awful, from my experience.
