  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Im very short on time to do research of different workflows, but I think I have read about something similar to what I am trying to do. I have used proxies to cut a full program in Finalcut. Now I would like to process and grade all the footage through redcineX. Currently I would have to manually make note of all timecodes and pull up each shot individually grade, then relink in final cut. I particularly want to take advantage of the new color science, which looks great.

Is there a piece of software or some automated way to do the same thing?
 
Clipfinder will read an XML from your FCP edit, then send the edit to REDcineX.

It can get you part way to re-linking the renders in FCP, but currently when you have multiple sub-clips used from one R3D you need to do some manual linking for all but the first instance.
