Wooden Camera Top Plate for Raven

Hey Guys,
Came across this accessory for DSMC2 bodies earlier today.

Seems like a rather good option for getting DSMC1 gear paired with the weapon or Raven amongst other things.

What do you guys think?

Whats amazing is this company seem to be so much more advanced on basic bolt on accessorise than RED itself. ?... I wonder why or how. ?

I've always been a RED parts buyer, but... in this case the things I need for my weapon when it finally arrives, RED don't have for sale on their site... So I'm sort of forced to purchase from these woodern.

Very curious to know why this is the case.

2011 again with when the Epic came out. Only the Wooden Camera stuff was available.

They also have a monitor cable that has contacts on one side and standard lemo port on the other. Wooden nailed it with Weapon accs.

I seem to remember VF being right at the front even before WC... All the early Epic M cameras seemed to come with VF stuff. With red1 it ws pretty much all ET

Looks like I will definitely get WC top plates but I am really hoping that ActionCam steps up and gets the back and underside of the camera sorted... (And perhaps even the top) at the moment one of our epic dragon setups comes out the box with with 10+ manufacturers supplying the very basic functionality...

ET, VF, WC, Lemac, Shape, Vocus , Arri, Red, MCS etc etc

I really hope sombody knocks it out the park and most Weapons in basic studio mode work similar

Got an email form WC that they were having issues getting the R/S going with the 3 pin Fisher. So they offered to send the first batch out without that assembly, to be followed by the R/S parts and installation video later. No surprise, I think they have a lot of orders for these. The first one I ordered goes out next week with the first big batch, but the second one I ordered a couple weeks later is at least a month behind.
Looking forward to it. Its nice they put some Arri standard mount points on it, though I wish they were centered as well. I hope all the electronics work. I got one of the budget LCD/EVF cables form them once and it fried my EVF. But they are the only game right now. And the implementation of the EVF Connectors are really the only disappointment I have with the Weapon so far. The WC top plate solves all that. As long as it works.
