Wooden Camera Mattebox Swingaway problems with rails

Does anyone else own the wooden camera swing away mattebox? Has anyone figured out a solution to the bottom of the mattebox hitting the rail rods when swinging them away other than using shorter rods or using a plate that offers pass through for the rods?

I don’t have the swing away, but see if you can raise it on one of the sides so it misses the matte box. I’ve run into this a couple times with that matte box when rotating the trays.

Both DSMC 1 and 2 are really difficult to use with LW15 because you can’t pass the rods through for a multitude of small things, things like this being one. I’d suggest jumping to Studio 15 or 19 to get full pass through.

Otherwise, just have a whole bunch of 3 inch increments of rails based on lens.
