I love this piece of gear. Drops the mount for V-Mount bricks to be completely flush with the top of DSMC and DSMC2 cameras which allows for more handling configurations and just gives much better aergonomics. Have two available and just selling all of my camera gear so no longer need.

It locks directly onto the back of any v-mount module or v-lock I/o expander. No adapter necessary. Just drops the battery to be flush with the top of the camera which I find incredibly useful. It’s also a lot more aesthetically please and helps to not block top handles
