  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Are these shipping yet? If so, does anyone have a review? I'm waiting on my quickback upgrade to make it cable-less.
 
They are being revised, not shipping yet as of a few days ago
 
Cable less weapon battery mount
 
They said there was some issue. Same thing in the top plates, you can get the plate without the trigger assembly and they will send that part later you can install yourself
 
But I have the top plate and it's great. I had the battery plate on order for a while but they kept pushing the date further out so I cancelled and ordered from element technica and it should arrive today
 
Oh wow, thanks for the info! Didn't know they were being revised! I wondered why it was taking so long for my order.
 
They will give you a cabled one in the meantime, just have to ask. I just got the ET one and man is it well made. I love wooden' stuff and have a bunch but this one is in a different league as far as build quality

Do you mean that the Wooden Camera cable-less has a bad built quality? I've been waiting for mine for two months as they are delaying it all the time, but I'm starting to question their quality cause they are always delaying with a "thanks for your patience" response. The only reason I'm still holding out for it is that you can mount the battery lower in order for it to work with the top handle. Is there any other mount that has the same setup?

I think he's saying that because the ET one is all machined metal instead of having a plastic plate. So it would feel like a better build quality, but that's more to do with us thinking metal is stronger than plastic therefore it's automatically better. Considering most of us have used plastic battery plates for years with zero issues, I am not concerned. I just talked with Griselda yesterday and she said the boards (which is what they were having issues with) are in the final stage of production and the plates should start shipping in 1-2 weeks. Of course, they have said that before to me but we'll see.

Yeah, she said the same to me... three times during two months. I mean, they have to have some kind of delivery schedule for the material providers and in that case should be able to give a delivery date. I mean, if I ordered two months ago I should be somewhat in the front run of the line.

How did you get it? They haven't started production yet. And you are not alone, I've seen others have it too, but I don't understand how you got them :tongue_smilie:

Its not the finished model. It has a PTap cable for now.
 
Feels like I've been waiting forever, I only have an AC cable. Imagine having a Weapon 6K since march, figuring out the best V-mount solution (together with top handle), deciding on the WC Cable-less, order in April aaaaand... nothing yet :tongue_smilie:
