Hey All!

Does anyone use the Wooden Camera Cable-less Gold Mount plate? I've had my Scarlet-W for a few months now and I'm consistently getting power cuts randomly throughout the day. I've narrowed it down to being the Wooden Camera plate. I guess my main question here is does anyone else have a problem with the battery plate and sudden power cuts? I've done direct DC power into the Base Expander and have never had an issue with that so I don't believe it is the brain or the Base Expander.
I've noticed the power cuts happen more often when the camera is being moved. Just curious on thoughts here, it's extremely frustrating and causes us to wait for camera far too often.

Thanks!

Have you tried different V-mount batteries? I have issues with some brands. I ended up finding luck with IDX and JuiceBox brands. I had problems with the MAXOAK cheapos from Amazon and all of their related knockoffs.

Yea have tried all different batteries, Dynacore, Anton Bauer, Switronix, IDX, etc. Sadly it still has the issue with all of them.

Wooden Camera battery plates of both kinds are giving lots of people trouble on DSMC2. You are not alone. Tons of threads on this
