Wireless Record (start/stop) 100+ feet?

[jason toth]

Hello, does anyone know of anything that can be used for Wireless Record (start/stop) for 100+ feet?

No Redmote, need longer distance.

I have search the forum and web without luck?

I'm needing a solution by July 20, 2013.

Thanks, Jason

my AC's are able to trigger start stop with a Preston FIZ 3. Not sure about the range exactly but someone here might know it. I think it would work at that distance.

I think the prestons go well beyond 300m. But you'd expect that for a rig that costs 25000 dollars.

And I think Jason is looking for a stand alone solution, whereas buying a FIZ rig just for start/stop probably isn't what he's looking for (could be wrong).
