Hey all
Just wondering if anyone knew of a Wireless field monitor (doesn't have to be HD). I saw someone carrying one on a shoot but didn't get a change to ask him where he got it from. It wasn't very big and he was wearing it around his neck and i believe it was getting feed from the camera. tried google but to no avail.

thanks
jas

Hey Steve

yeah i saw that online, but the one this guy had was so cool looking, like a PDA but with a handle grip, white in colour, must have been 2'5 - 5' in size. any ideas anyone?

what is meant by pricey? what would a ball park figure be?

Could this have been a MiniTV?
With a small transmitter using the DVB-T band connected to the EVF output on the camera, this could be a good wireless companion to the RedRemote.
You also get a USB receiver that plug into a PC.

MiniTV is big in Korea and slowly growing in Europe.

Many types of this. Korean brand COWON is best known.
