Very soon anyway- as soon as the cables and batteries arrive after New Years.
This is a fully integrated professional solution small and light (under 2 lbs receiver, monitor and 3-4 hr battery), very affordable, ideal for focus pullers, directors etc. Works great with Red and other cameras.
Zero delay will make focus pullers very happy.
Around $600 for Tx / Rx kit with cables and battery . Monitors sold separately
pictures below.
please watch this video - it explains the system in more detail.

Let me know if you have any questions..

Wow $600 to $700 that little big over price (jk)

Fantastic, the price is right.
Really hope RED step up and make a EPIC Module style system as a Wireless feed is very much needed.

will you be able to power the TX from the RED EPIC battery?
Yes will power from aux port from the camera or battery such as Dtap from AB batteries. cable tested from 7V up to 17V. Will make cables with Lemos.
Norm thanks: line of sight to about 120 ft(35 or so meters)
Two walls in between bring it down to under 50 ft
of course it depends on what kind of walls but it gives you the idea.
Depending on response from Redusers I will have a discount available for a wireless/monitor kits.
there is absolutely no perceptible delay. I think the new breed of focus pullers that depend on crisp HD live feed will like this system a lot.

Hi Jacek,

How much is it resistant to cell phones? I've fooled with some enexspensive RF units from China and have had interference problems from outside RF sources. Although we were able to isolate the recievers with Mu metal for close in work.

cost?

cost?

Hey there Jacek,
Not to question your pricing but why is this so expensive? The unit you are using is retail $180? Or at least under $200.
Does your bracket, battery and cable make up the rest of the 400-500 bucks? I would have expected the lcd to come with at this price.
what company is the lcd made from?
Also what is the resolution.
If your sending 1080 resolution. A high resolution monitor be the way to go...?

The band it uses is 5.1-5.6GHz so it won't be affected by cell phones as they run at 2.4Ghz.
Josh it's called economy of scales. If I had made 100,000 kits the price would be lower trust me...:wink5:

What's the resolution of the monitors? Especially interested in the 10 inch version... What would a bracket for a SmallHD DP-6 look like? And how much would this be? Also, are there any plans for a SDI version?

I'm pretty sure, There will be a SDI version (Extra cost).
I believe Jacek is working on it.

My camera does not have an HDMI out :-( If this had an SDI input, I'd buy one right NOW! or when they were available.

NO it doesn't have SDI-out

As far as monitors we have a 5"(480x800) with 1:1-around $450
7" generic (800x480) low cost (under $300)
7" sunlight (800x480) -under $700
10" standard(1024x600) around $450
and 10" sunlight around $850
you can get pretty much any monitor mounted and there are great options on the market now. They are however more expensive and I'm not in the monitor business- just trying to provide full solution for convenience of my customers..
To me the most important features for this application are sunlight brightness and good contrast- that's what makes a handheld monitor worth it for focus pullers and even directors- sharp contrasty image in any lighting condition.

Looks great Jacek!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Sanjin,
Finally we have affordable wireless HD. I've been waiting for a long time!!!
The SDI module will be an add-on to the transmitter so you can input (HD) SDI
HDMI is just fine for the receiving end IMO
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

So, my interest is piqued of course now, did you repackage the asus wicast in your own housing? Is it metal?

If it's metal that will obscure your signal strength quite a bit.

There are a lot of details about these new affordable wireless HD systems that is not immediately apparent.

Have you done any modifications to the antenna? It's a real bitch when the FCC shows up asking a lot of questions on a set.
