Wireless for remote focus

Would appreciate opinions as to the most cost effective solution for wireless video for remote focus (distance no more than 300 meters). The two systems with less than 1 ms latency appear to be the Cinegears Ghost-eyes vs Teradek. Because of the Komodo SDI output the "best bang for the buck" seems to be the Ghost-eyes for someone not already invested in a Teradek system. Are there other systems to consider? Fully appreciate the advantage of 4K for critical focus but until cost and availability of small 4K monitors is reasonable, 1080p60 seems to be the most reasonable. Is passing the SDI through a SmallHD Cine7 monitor to cross-convert to HDMI to input to Teradek ACE 500 a solution or does that introduce latency? Again would appreciate opinions of those with more experience.

Yes it will.

Have you thought about something like the smallHD Cine 7 500TX, which is the same 7” monitor, but with a transmitter built in. Unfortunately, the Focus 5 version is HDMI only.

We have the Ghost-Eye systems and love it. The 150M has both HDMI and SDI plus it cross-converts as does the 600M. The receivers outputs both HDMI and SDI at the same time which we use that option all the time on set. Kyle at Cinegears has always taken good care of us.

Thanks, I'll speak to Kyle. The Cinegears Ghost-Eye also specify that all input/output connections have +/-8kv ESD protection which should help mitigate the SDI issue.
