Winter 09?

[Gary Ploj]

I'm a bit confused by the date...Am I to assume that the Scarlet FF35 & Epic FF35 will be shipping this Jan -April 09

Is that correct?

Thanks.

That would be nice, but no. Look for them toward the end of '09.

The Mysterium X models will ship first in the form of the 2/3" and S35 Scarlet and the EPIC X. EPIC X will be the first EPIC to ship as a reward to all the current RED One early believers.

Jan-April '09 would be winter '08 - we name the winter by the year it started in.

Okay..thanks for the clairfication. I thought it would be too good to be true. Ha Ha...

Can somebody please enlighten me which months signify US summer, spring, fall and winter? Thanks

From Wikipedia:

In the conventional United States calendar: Winter (89 days) begins on 21 December, the winter solstice; spring (92 days) on 20 March, the vernal equinox; summer (93 days) on 21 June, the summer solstice; and autumn (90 days) on 22 September, the autumnal equinox.

Why couldn't they use quarters instead?

Maybe because like Red announcements, the seasons are always changing.

200 days to go until the first Mysterium X camera is released. A debate about the solstice rages on.

Ramesh, it's the reverse to what we have here in the Southern Hemisphere. So our Summer (Dec-Feb) is their Winter, our Winter (Jun-Aug) is their Summer, our Spring (Sept-Nov) is their Autumn, and our Autumn (Mar-May) is their Spring.
