I am trying to figure out if this setup will work. I found this 3.5mm 1/8 female stereo to dual male 1/8 stereo. Basically splitting one stereo inputs into 2 outputs. So I could do Ch1 and Ch2 on the red, and use the Rode Stereo Mic Pro? Both links are below.

I currently have the item below. Its weird it sounds great until I press record and then it just starts making this fan sound click. It sounds like its somehow coming from the fan or interference.

Corey, you cannot sum two mic signals into one input using that cable. For that, you would need a mixer. I'm not certain what you are trying to achieve, but I would not use that cable for microphone audio...

Thanks for the reply Ron. I am trying to run a small mic like the rode video mic, and a small led torch. For my glide cam sled. I was thinking the tactical top plate and run small 5 inch arms to do this but not sure.

Just trying to figure out this will work. Tricky audio the scarlet has.

it is difficult to get stereo scratch audio on the original Scarlet/Epic brain. I once tried a Rode, I ended up having to open it, and cut one of the wires to make it Mono, It worked after that.
