Hello guys, I just purchased these lenses in an AWESOME deal. They are Zeiss Super Speed "B-Speeds". A 25mm 1.4, 35mm 1.4, and an 85mm 1.4 (Still looking to buy a 50mm if anyone has one for sale).

They look GREAT on Scarlet-X... Now I am prepared to purchase my Epic Upgrade from Scarlet and before doing so, I'd like to know if these will cover 5K or (in the future 6K Dragon)

Any and all help will be appreciated. Thank you...

Every Zeiss 1.3/1.4 lens that I've checked cover full 5K without problem, even the 18mm lenses. But even though I haven't tested them on a projector, I'd say these sets won't cover full 6K.

Thanks for the info guys. Tomasso, the Re-house was done by a company called Samcine. I don't think they're in business any longer. And yes to my knowledge, they were originally BNC-R mount. I'm not sure if they ever came in PL Mount.

Agree, they look pretty nice lenses.
Please share the pic. when you put up on Scarlet.

Thank you.

I sold these to Rick. Small correction... Sammy's of London actually did the rehousing on these lenses, probably in the 70's/80's. "Samcine" is the name they gave to all the products they modified for cinema use. Sammy's was considered the Panavision of Europe.

Rick, you can test 5K on your Scarlet! They won't vingette though :) Your 16mm most likely will. Good luck dude!
