Will there ever be a new RED camera?

With the Z mount Komodo X, V-Raptor and the V-Raptor XE there technically have been new cameras already released since the Nikon acquisition.

None of them bring new sensor specs to the table but the lens mount change is a big deal in terms of the pool of lenses that can now used on RED's camera lineup and the nature of how well AF can be used.

I'm pretty sure RED has always continued working on the next big
thing and I think Nikon has only added onto that effort.

I do think there are more variables with future RED cameras where a component of new models would likely involve a new Expeed processor from Nikon. Expeed 7 has been around since 2021. I think RED/Nikon would likely wait for Expeed 8 to be available for a new RED camera instead of using the existing 5 year old processor.

Even broader consideration is that the world is in a crazy place and I think many companies (or people in general) are balancing riding this chaos with caution while not being frozen by it.

Food and energy shortages are a very real concern and that creates many other issues.
I only bring this up because camera releases are not in a vacuum and what's going on geopolitically is having major effects on business life everywhere.
