will scarlet price drop once raven comes out

[Mike Krumlauf]

I am guessing the scarlet mx will be discontinued once raven is released but should we see an increase in price before they are?

[Louis Maddalena]

The Scarlet MX is already discontinued and EOL. The Scarlet Dragon is still part of the line up and I assume will continue to be sold at the same price as it offers a variety of differetn features that the Raven does not. Mainly 5k and Interchangeable lens mounts.

It doesn't have to come out Scarlet MX prices are way down. I have been trying to sell mine for $4500 and nobody wants it so sad.

[Leroy Jackson]

Yeah the Scarlet MX I fell was always the Red head step child of the line up (pun intended).
It's a decent camera and all but yeah I think prices are going to Red One MX territory.

4500 for just the brain or is it a kit? i'll take you up on the latter in 2016 if for any reason I decide to back out of my raven deposit.
