Will RED offer a Scarlet Dragon upgrade to Epic Dragon?

[tanner wolfe]

I've done a few searches and I haven't seen a good answer to this. We are on the verge of purchasing a Scarlet Dragon and I'm curious if the upgrade to Epic Dragon is a maybe or an absolute no.

hi tanner. i was wondering the same. i just got my scarlet dragon, and see myself moving up to epic in a year or two. its hard to tell what upgrade roadmap makes sense, since the dragon sensors are just now getting out to the owners. based on years past, theres been upgrades available, but the dragon platform seems to be a bit different. I'm hoping for an upgrade program in the future, as i couldn't justify epic at the moment. I'm new to red, but they seem to be hellbent on customer satisfaction, i bet we may see an upgrade path in a few years.

fingers crossed.

Generally the only thing the Scarlet -> Dragon upgrades offer you is convenience. If you want to upgrade, sell your body and buy a new one. In fact, I think that's what they should have done for all of the upgrades. Costs about the same and gives you a brand new warranty.

You still get a new warranty. I did the Scarlet to Epic MX upgrade and I have a full warranty.
