  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Will Red enable Tamron 24-70mm stabilization????

i wana know too.. seriously after so long and such a comptetitive lens for budget-wise users youd think Canon was paying NOT to have tamron's VC supported lol
i mean it would prob take someone 25min to add it into the firmware
 
i'd like to know as well....the tamron is head to head with the canon optically, much cheaper and the VC/IS makes it an easy choice....
but i guess with all the other stuff going on it is probably not close to the top of the list....
 
From the tests I've seen the Tam is ever so slightly inferior to canon mkII (softer corners & a little more CA) but IS turned on could make it a winner especially at the price. Holding out for now on this critical focal length...
 
Just don't plan on using the zoom in a shot. It's terrible. It sticks more than any lens ever used. Using the zoom will kill any shot. I have had mine since they came out. It will not break in. Way too sticky to use.
