Will RED 18-50mm & 50-150mm Lenses Work with 5K Epic?

[Luis Ortiz]

Are there any issues with using the original RED (18-50 & 50-150mm) lenses with Epic 5K?

[Luis Ortiz]

bump.

They will work, but they won't be able to cover the full 5K.

Thanks.

And will the RPP lenses cover the full 5 K ?
Thanks.

And will the RPP lenses cover the full 5 K ?
Thanks.

That´s what they´ve been telling us. (I am not totally sure about the 18mm though, but I exepct it too)

Edit: All the original RPPs have a diagonal distance of 32mm (which covers Epics 30x15mm 5K sensor), I assume the 18mm is the same, but have no specs on it. (But I have the lens...)

The 18-50mm "Maximum Format Covered Super 35mm"

the 50-150mm "Maximum Format Covered Super 35mm"

Super 35mm is 18.66 x 24.89 mm. (So somewhere above that for the zooms)

Thanks Eirik for the information.
