It probably won't be seen at all outside of the US, which is a shame. Still, it is primarily directed at voters in the US. It would be like watching a documentary about the British Prime Minister here is the states. The showing I went to was packed.

Interesting how box office numbers haven't been updated. As an Independent voter and minded person, I find it humorous how liberals rule the media (don't even begin the Fox news rant, it's only 1 station). If this was a pro Obama film, it would be featured everywhere with rave reviews. Interesting how media dictates what we see and what we don't.

I only watched the trailer on IMDB but it just looks to me like another conspiracy film to me, a bunch of anti Obama people loosely stringing "Facts" together an a desperate attempt to show americans they've somehow been duped into voting to Obama.
No doubt it will say go on and on about how he wants to "Apologise for America" and that sort of nonsense.
I suppose I would have to watch it before I jumped to any real conclusions but thats the vibe I got.

Come on man... I guess these ones were okay for you?

By the people is a great documentary that follows the campaign from behind the scenes, it offers a view to the side of politics that you don't normally see, maybe you think it's a propaganda piece because it didn't attack him relentlessly for having left wing views or whatever but I don't agree that it's the equivalent of this 2016 film because it didn't attempt to smear anyones name.

The other film you mentioned is a campaign commercial showing it's candidate in a positive light and trying to remind the american people of his accomplishments, they did something similar around the end of the election, remember the half hour special? Who cares.

My point is people are offended by opposing points of view (Especially when it's anti left/Obama) but are fine with anti right (anti Fox) sentiment which is unrelenting. Both are slanted, both are biased. One rules the airwaves and the industry, therefore has greater impact. I didn't say anything was wrong with the 2 doc's listed above, just making a statement that both sides do the same thing... If you fail to see both sides practicing the same tactics, then you are already too far gone.

I rest my case on this one...

matt, you obviously don't know what i believe. think before you speak, please.

Paul, then if you post, post a complete comprehensive statement that can be understood.

way i look at it... few more months til everybody shuts up.

unfortunately regardless it goes on and on... I bet we could both agree it's extremely tiresome and causes more division between American's than anything else. It seems like both sides like to divide the nation and break everything into categories (Class, Race, Educational background, nationality, Etc.). Honestly, politics is the demise of the country, because it's goal is to divide... but it will never go away.

see, we do agree. but it will go away... either the country, or the crooked, or the land itself. something's gotta give.

groaaaann.....
