Why when i double click in r3d file it doesn't open in RedAlert?

Why when i double click in r3d file it doesn't open in RedAlert?
just open the application but with no file opened

I remember this was possible before, or not?

I also tried with Clipfinder and i got this prompt

No, REDalert does not by itself recognize an Open File command.
You'll need to install REDPortal or work with Clipfinder

In any case, you'll need to go to System Preferences and turn on "enable access for assistive devices" in the "Universal Access" pane.
