  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I think Steward is using bad translator but if it is his own writing than he is doing very good.

I always take Steward's posts with good take on metaphor.
In spite of language barrier you can sense very spontaneous emotional soul.
 
Yeah, but still, I don't get what a bridge has to do with people not ordering Reds ?
If there's a metaphor in there I must have missed it...

And by the way, isn't that supposed to be in the off topic section ?
 
Er, I think I`ve seen pictures of Stew holding a R1 somewhere. I love your posts Stew, although I don`t fully understand them, your english is better than my Chinese, definately, and on a Friday night, probably better than my English too. Surreal stuff, keep it coming. Nevertheless, I`d still like someone from Red to let me know if its likely MY mental health will deteriorate further upon recieving a R1, and are there any Red pills we can take? :)

People Are Ordering Reds

It looks to me like Red is taking reservations at a pretty good clip.

People appear to have been ordering about 250 a month since late 2007. This order rate could speed up considerably as the lead time shortens and with the release of Build 16 and the SDK and as the accessory situation improves. This graph is based on about 15 posts where people mentioned their serial number and order date.

Mr. Collins, thank you. Some sanity in a thread of most udder confusion, and with only your second post, yet. Motivation!

I'm a Canadian, living in Taiwan, married to a Taiwanese lady; I've visited Hong Kong many times and have traveled to the mainland, too. In fact, my Mandarin might even be passable....

Yes, our thread-bearer is entertaining and thought provoking. Some may call him mind-numbing. But in the end, have we moved forward with this exercise, or have we been duped?

1.5 billion Chinese can't be wrong, as our friend consistently points out, but why the hell are they always voting on every little detail that appears on this very helpful site?! I have a statue in front of me of a student ramming his teacher into the ground and calling him less that a rat and I met men in China who were still trying to come to grips with their involvement in the cultural revolution. "Ah...I was just kinda... like a cheerleader, ya know?..."

Wow! We were all flabbergasted! How could a great country lead it's people into hell and say it's on the path to paradise? OOOPS! What country are we talking about now?....

Just be fair and be real. And try not to kill anything. :>)

Whoops. You are right. I obviously can't subtract. Looking at my tabulated data it's more like 250 per month. The grid lines aren't on even months. That means they probably won't be caught up by the end of the year. By the end of November they could be up around 5750.
 
Reservations are not mean they will " Take the Delivery " though.

I have recieved many orders with 10% deposit but they won't close the deals for last 4 months !!!!

Not even Sanjin, in his deepest alcoholic stupor, could make heads or tails of this thread. I have to admit I love this forum with all it's colorful characters. My favorite characters of all time are Sanjin, Stewart, and Finner...lol
