As I continue to figure out things, I still need to understand something about these R3D files and RedCineX.
When the R3D files are downloaded from the media into my Windows7 computer, each take (clip) is designated by a manila folder icon in the Windows Video Library. But, within each folder there are separate numbered images. What are those, and why are they separated instead of just one scene?
In RedCineX the manila folders appear as the separate takes, as they should. Why are these takes shown as a manila folder icon in Windows and not just an image with a Red X at the bottom/right corner?
Seems strange to me.
Is all this a result of the R3D files, or the Windows7 PC ?
Please see attachments. 1st image = images within manila folders. 2nd image = R3D manila folders.
Thanks.
