Looking for any experiences/advice on setting the white balance on the Red One. I have been holding up a sheet of white paper and hitting the pre-set auto white balance button. The results seem OK, but look a little like they have a green tint. Making sure all that is in view is the paper (no background).

I have seen a product called "warm cards" and other white balance specific cards/tools.

Any thoughts? What are you guys using...sheet of paper, special cards...?

Check all your tint, gain settings and make sure they are all stock settings. If you still see a green tint try re-installing the firmware. Also, 5600K is daylight 3200K is Tungsten. You can manually dial in your desired warm/cool balance as you wish.

I say don't use the auto wb button. I always dial in the temp I want, which as it turns out is almost always 10,000k. I've recently been shooting more in the range of 8000k, but it's all fairly irrelevant anyway since its all metadata. When I use the auto wb button I get weird colors, I don't use it, and I always shoot above 5600k even when indoors.

EDIT: oh, and if you haven't tried yet, do a black shade calibration.
