  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which sensor used in The Hobbit?

They did a more reddish makeup on all the actors in order to compensate some of the weird colors the MX does. So it's not just lighting and color grading, it's a lot with makeup as well that created it's look.

That is very true. I think eventually the color science was tweaked to the point where this was no longer necessary, but they went into production a long time ago. They started shooting in 2011, and a lot has changed in the 7 years that followed.
