Which Scarlet Upgrade Will You Choose?

[Brandon J.F.]

Scarlet Dragon, Epic MX or not upgrading?

[Eugene Martin]

Scarlet Dragon

[Peter Proniewicz-Brooks]

Difficult to look past scarlet dragon.

[Henry Ceiro]

Got to wait for more specs very really saying, but it does look interesting.

[BrandonChristensen]

Scarlet Dragon is actually exciting...if I could afford it (I can't), I'd do that one.

[Adam Welch]

Scarlet Dragon is the plan if I can fit it into the budget.

[Robert L. Mickles]

Its an upgrade to Epic MX or Epic Dragon. There won't be a Scarlet Dragon. (Scratch That! I stand Corrected.

I'd have to see the full details on Thursday, but it looks like a good option may be to upgrade to Epic MX then upgrade to Dragon when I have the money and my number is up.

Scarlet Dragon it is!

[Patrick Stringer]

Upgrade to Epic then to Epic Dragon like Robert stated. Going and buying ramen as I type... need to start saving.

[Kemalettin Sert]

sell Scarlet and buy Epic-X Dragon

[Jon Carr]

Trade for epic-x then upgrade to dragon. Lets do this now!!!

[Arthur Woo]

from a budget perspective scarlet dragon makes the most sense. if there's word on a scarlet dragon -> epic or epic dragon down the line that would seal the deal for scarlet dragon

[Daniel Pearson]

sell Scarlet and buy Epic-X Dragon

What's your reasoning? A Scarlet brain sells for about $5000 second hand, so then to buy Epic X Dragon is $24,000, so $19,000 difference... Same as the upgrade to Epix X then epic X to dragon.

[Brian Merlen]

When we know which can over crank more, that will be my choice...

PS I am such a happy fan boy right now

[Brett Harrison]

sell Scarlet and buy Epic-X Dragon

How could that work in your benefit?

[Christian Jadot]

Thank you RED for making me want to spend even more money! The Scarlet Dragon sounds like a dream.

Question:

What will the size will the crop factor be for 5K?

[dennys bisogno]

What makes the Scarlet Dragon so sexy is that...... we don't quite know the specs yet! so we can fantasize :001_huh: But yes right now I say Scarlet Dragon is my choice LOL :iagree:

[Daniel Pearson]

It will come down to two things for me. First, seeing Dragon footage. Second, if a Scarlet Dragon to Epic Dragon update exists.

[Neil Dearman]

I really don't want to sell my Scar for an Epic X then save up for the upgrade. I was saving up for a octorotor but now it looks like I am going to be spending it on RED again. thanks for the updates was worried didn't see the upgrade option on the scar on RED's website. cool beans

[Neil Dearman]

Yes please let me be no cropping on the Scar, that would be fantastic!!!!! Thanks for the heads up RED please send out the specs so I can get back to editing!!! Its like Christmas morning and I can't open my presents.

[Kemalettin Sert]

How could that work in your benefit?
