  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which mount is this?

Can anyone ID this mount?
It's larger than an EF

neah, m42 is screw on, its hard to tell, what is the lens exactly?

yeah then is has to sony or EF i would think, not sure what else mounts those lenses come in.

Photos from other angles and measurements of the dimensions would help.

This from Zeiss CP2 site:
Available in five different mounts – PL, EF, F, Micro 4/3 and E

It's obviously not PL.

Thanks David and company. Looking at the attachment that Les sent it seems pretty conclusive that it's an EF. My partner says it doesn't fit on a 5D though... seems like operator error may be the culprit here. ;)
It's on its way back to me so I'll know soon enough.

It is indeed an EF.
Does anyone have any experience mixing Leica R and Zeiss CP.2 footage?
We are planning some tests, but have never tried it ourselves.
We primarily shoot Leica R, but our 28mm is on another shoot.
This particular show will be primarily shot with the amazing Leica R 19mm vii

So what was stopping it fitting on the 5D?

As far as matching, shoot some tests with an X-Rite Colorchecker Video chart and make up some LUTs or adjustment nodes in Resolve or similar to get you in the ballpark, or to a common REC709 or other standard starting point.
