If you use maya. Wich is your favorite site to buy 3d models from?

We had some from TurboSquid.

Found issues here and there but it worked.

In the past Dosch, Viewpoint and...damn forgot the names :(

Maybe Phil can answer this one.

He works with Gnomon, one of the best 3D people around :)

Turbosquid seams nice. But seams that you need to use 3dmax and vray to get the texture and light setup. Wish it was maya and vray to.

Yes but if you find an FBX you will at least get some decent datasets.

Most of the time we create our own shaders, lighting and rendering set-ups.

I've used turbosquid numerous times, good with them is there have been times when my download isn't as described (says maya native and i get a broken rig) and they have never failed to refund me. Customer service good.
They have native maya models too, I've bought a few fully rigged models from them.

Yea again its a hit and miss with TurboSquid.

You will get some decent models.

I cant wait till someone uploads the Pacific Rim set ;)

LOL!

Turbo squid only real game in town, deEsposa catalogue good value for 3dsmax users - what kind of model are you looking for?
Beware FBX for high poly-count models Obj all the way with maya.
