  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where to get Audiophile music?

Well my NVIDIA has just updated to include Tidal. But the lossless rate is too steep (HiFI higher than premnium? You would think it would be the opposite as things are now UltraFI). I get hdr Netflix cheaper.

The sheild is an absurd unit. They took away the trackpad by forced update, no android tablet/mobile apps, no included tv tuners (and only recent support through a subscription app and limited, but there is another way and its opening up), no Bluray ultra HD, or Bluray, drive support and optical port for sound. I had to buy the HDMI selector with audio splitter. So, it is like 1/10 of a properly decked out MPC. At least the Chromecast update has finally added device to device direct casting (though fur done strange reason, with so many wifi channels you can't have wifi at the same time). So, at least I can cast mobile Android apps (if it supports) more easily (including visiting people without cast on their TV's=most TV owners with a chrome stick).

But the sheild is a nice little media/audio player fir the living room.

Matt, I have problems with certain frequency ranges, but noticed I could pickup higher. I'm curious if women can too. They can see extra colours.

I used to have an app on my phone that would create a very high pitched sound that supposedly only young people could hear.

My kids could hear it and it was quite amusing to annoy them and their friends. The only effect on me was a pressure feeling that made my head hurt.

Yeah. Was out with a few freind's and the topic came up. One, years ago, I could whisper to accross the room with her sister inbetween us, and she could hear it but her sister couldn't. Her niece also can hear a pin drop from the other side of a house, so to speak. Amazing stuff what the young can do.

I've tried a similar thing with a phone. My hearing is conjested and not so good anymore. I noticed something there. But my ears where clearer the other day and I was in for a ultrasound, and at one stage O hear it drop down into the normal frequency range. I could sense something very high pitch there consistently though.
