When?

[Phil McClintok]

When is red going to start taking orders for the scarlet? I hope I can get my mits on one before the decade is through. When can we expect to make reservations? What are the latest estimates?

[donatello b]

if have get/have a Redone then you are already in line ...
if you don't have a Redone then it looks like you'll have to wait till ???????

[Emiel Labree]

Nobody knows. They're busy with development. Look at the estimates and you'll have an idea.

i`m not ordering one until i see a sample footage from the fixed lens scarlet...

[Ryan Valle]

Chances are that you won't be able to even order or pre-order one until way after sample footage has been released.

If I could order one now I would place an order today. I would be happy to make a down payment and wait until it was ready to ship next year. I have already seen Red One footage and have complete faith in the ability of Red to fulfil its goal to make the very best cameras on the market.:calm:

Well then I suppose it's a good thing we're not close to being able to order them now isn't it. :innocent: Up until just recently the cameras were just being conceptualized, now they have basic working prototypes. I suppose that some footage will be leaked when they have some specs nailed down. For now... it's all subject to change, just as they have warned.
