  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

When will there be news from RED?

I'd perfer that I got an E-Mail too. But no reservation though. I spend too much time here. I also need an E-Mail DCResource, DPReviw, camcorderinfo.com, HDForIndies, Engadget and DVXuser about the XH A1 and HV20. But then I'd just spend all my time on Gmail.

I spend two hours online in the morning and another in the evening. Last year I just decided to learn more about cameras because I thought mine wasn't good enough, then I go on a learning frenzy and I can answer peoples questions at DVXuser about cameras I don't even own! Yep, just a growing obsession with cameras and RED just made it bigger. Well, at least I'm not AppliedVisual! (He doesn't post much anymore; did he get off of RED?) Even when I watch a TV show, commercial, movie, the news, I always just name the camera when I see it. "That's an F900" "That's a DVX100" "That's the Canon Elura 100" "That's the Canon PowerShot SD700 IS" "That's the Canon EOS 5D"

I've just realised I've gone camera crazy!!:excl: :blink: I even hold off eating to read about the RED ONE!

I know how you feel, being camera crazy... All I own is a cheapo handycam (on the video side), but I still know almost everything about RED ONE and the HVX...
 
All I own is a JVC GR-D250U and a Canon PowerShot A620. But I know almost everything about the XH A1, XL H1, XH G1, HV20, RED ONE, DVX100, HVX200... And it goes on. But those are the main ones.
 
Of course weve all been having an affair with a Red Head or should i say several red heads for a long time!

RED is better than film because I can't afford to shoot my personal projects with film. End of discussion. Now comes the part where everyone agrees with me and we all go home happy.

Jim said updated delivery info in a couple weeks. It's only been like 8 or 9 days since he said that. I will wait patiently... But it's killing me on the inside. :matrix:
 
Yes the waiting sucks, but at least we have a confirmed reservation, and a hope of recieving one in 2007 sometime.:whistling:

Before I was told I'd get my Red in June. I'm sure hoping for mid-July at the latest! But honestly, I hope Jim takes his time and works out the last details. I'd rather take delivery in September if that's what it takes to iron things out. No worries from me, I touched the cameras with me own hands :-)
 
I prefer to be notified by carrier pigeon. Please, only on Fridays, because the rest of the time my Falcon likes his daily kills (there is an abundance of pigeons in Canada, too many for my taste). On Friday we feed him macaroni and cheese as per the ancient falconry code.

Orient your pigeon towards my home via google earth map - it's called Castle Loma. Pigeons adore the parapets. I anxiously await the first rolled up parchment with the RED waxed RED logo/seal.

I too snort this forum daily. I envy those texas poker addicts - compared to this forum, they're pikers.

Screw all you level headed bastards. I want my Red yesterday with the new boards even though they weren't available! :waaa: I'm gonna just have to plan to shoot every single day for the the first month I have the camera.
