  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

When will the drives be available for sale again?

The 320GB drives have been off the store site for a while now. I could use another one. Are the drives being re-engineered or are they simply backordered? The reason I ask is because I can’t even add the drive to the shopping cart like all the other backordered items. Anyone interested in selling a drive?

we need at least two of them. And Drive cables too. please PM. We begin a Film production in september... a film production with CF 4K 2:1. :angry01:

We talk with Red last week and there´s no date.
 
In the "delivery schedule" sticky, Big Jon states that they are shipping again.

Has anyone received his backordered drives ? The end of august is coming soon...

Received my camera 2 months ago, still nothing...
 
RED-DRIVES will not go back on sale in the store until we have eaten through the majority of this backorder. We are getting through the list and we are hoping to be through it by end of the month. We are going as fast as we can on them, rest assured.

Please send soon , we started shooting on our feature 10 days ago and although the 8gb cf cards are great, it can be a pain sometimes. Thanks for the update. Received camera 9 weeks ago, desperate for REd drives.
 
For me 8 GB card are great and easy way to work . I have no Red Drive
but my friend get it 2 Mouth ago . Bigger thing that i like in 8 Gb card it is that you can change card on set and copy file to
LapTop and test footage , or make some CC :) When you have only RedDrive you need to stop shooting and wait for files coping.
 
not if you have 2 of them. That's what i have on order with my cam. I do like the cf cards, if the 16gb were shipping to me now i would be very happy.
