When someone tells that a RED camera is hard to use and NOT user friendly etc. Ask them to seek advice from these guys!
RED Camera is the best and easiest camera brand to handle. That is why professionals around the world use it extensively for things of this nature. (I had to say something here.....)
BTS of Disneynature's "Born in China (2016)"
1st AC prepping the camera.
Adjusting the Mattebox
Director of Cinematography checking the exposure.
The first take.
Reviewing footage
Slight disagreement on the camera choice. "ARRI......... No! Its NOT an ARRI!!!!"
"Your brain is this small"
Main actor Mr. Shoulda Coulda Woulda
Lights ...... Camera......... Action!
Union guys
Dude. Don't touch that camera!
No one wants to be in front of this thing.
And for those who are way too serious; Yes, these folks used RED cameras on most segments. Here is the IMDB link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4629266/?ref_=nv_sr_2
Now on Netflix.
Have fun
