When did you realize that you have a talent for photography?

Hello y’all. Just as the title says, you’d have known what I’m about to discuss in this thread today. So, when and how did you realize that you have a good aesthetic sense for photography? You may show us the one photo when everything began.

A long while ago. Of course, it took me years to refine it, as is the case with most people. Once you "get it", you can't lose it. Criticism helps a lot. Sometimes, one small critique can make a big difference.

As is often the case, I recognised what it meant to be a good photographer long before I actually became one. At the very beginning, I could plainly distinguish between excellent photos and ordinary ones. And I wondered why it was that so many people continued to post mediocre images. Being good is not a matter of effort or intelligence, it's a matter of clarity. You have to be critical of yourself, and even a bit cynical.

Interesting question, but I don't know the answer. I love taking pictures, but I just take pictures that I want to remember. I did not notice any special talent behind me. Some of my photos were liked by some, others were not.

Never, I don't think i have one, but i love to shoot, so I just do what I love tryin to get better, and enjoy myself, cuz life is freakin short, so enjoy it!
