Red might break the tradition...

But, so far we have seen introduction of two sensors ( MX and Dragon with Scarlet DSMC and with other bodies too.. Red One/MX, Red Epic MX/Dragon) for a single generation of the body/brain.

Right now, Scarlet-W has the Dragon Sensor... are we going to see a new sensor coming into Scarlet-W DSMC2?
Ofcourse the same question for Raven too...

Would it be Monstro downscaled!!!

Any insider news? Please spill the beans.

If this isnt happening... when are we going to see DSMC3 Scarlet? I couldnt find a source about Red future plans...

Thanks

Slow down!! let it be... hehe

Wanted to upgrade to DSMC2... and do not want to buy a Scarlet-W Dragon if at all a new sensor/DSMC3 release is planned soon.

✌️

when are we going to see DSMC3
Thanks

According to a quote from Jarred, the DSMC2 form factor would be going to at least 2020. But you know, things can always change, but so far, that's the latest news...

There will be new stuff soon for sure! It´s always like that! If you buy a new product its already old because the next generation is already in development.
Just buy an Epic-W and be happy for the rest of your operators life. Great framerates, super35 sensor, 8k if you need it.

I really love the image, ISO noise performence is insane on Helium and with IPP2 you get superb dynamic range.
So there is nothing more to upgrade than, expect my skills to use all these features to the maximum potential ;)
