What Sliders are people using?

Hi all,
Am planning to do some shopping in Singapore on Thursday. On the market to get a slider for some motion control shoots planned over the next couple months filming around Indonesia. The slider I have in mind is the Konova 80cm track. Anyone with experience of this or care to suggest what sliders you're using and your thoughts on them?

The only Kessler dealer in Singapore is Cathay Photo. Make sure you call ahead because they don't carry good stock. You can get a cineslider ok, but the controller and motors are often in backorder, so you might not be able to get what you want.
Call +65 6338 0451 and ask to speak to Dolly, as that's her department. Cathay Photo is THE main shop for the pros, but they can be slightly higher prices than others. If you're in the area, also check the other dealerships like Alan Photo and Camera Workshop for some used bargains.

Same with Red Dot Photo, who stock Konova in Singapore. I've never dealt with them so I can't give a referral.

I'd be careful with those Konova products. I've test their sliders...and it's cheaply made and not as smooth as the other offerings. There are a lot of cheaper sliders out on the market. Cinevate (Atlas 10, 30, 200) all great. Elkenrode is nice as well, though I'd recommend their pro model to support our cameras. Kessler makes great products, and with a lifetime warranty, who can beat that? Obviously the Dana Dolly and now Trost sliders are 2 very popular brands here on the forums, however, both will set you back 2K. You could always rent and test to find out what you really like.
