over the 5" monitor in this clip?
http://www.crafttruck.com/tech-bites/how-steven-soderbergh-packs-his-red/

It's hard to see what it looks like in the clip but if it's familiar, someone will recognize it.
I suspect it's some special made/prototype but you never know until you ask, right?

I´ve used the little grey RED cloth-pouch as a monitor cover when traveling, moving etc, but it adds no protection from bumps etc.
I've made my own now out of an old neoprene case and some threads and a needle :D but if the one Ted is using is something you can buy, I'd like that better!

I've searched for something like this but haven't found anything, yet, which surprised me to be honest as there's accessories for almost everything!

Thanks!

Thanks Bob! I did a quick search and there seem to be mostly "hardcases" with zipper. As in: separate transportation.
But I'm keeping my monitor on camera amap, so I' m looking for a sleeve/pouch/ etc with some padding/protection to just slip over the monitor. Sounds to me like a piece of cake for the third-party-market.

But maybe I'll find something eith your tip :) Hope.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

Hi Frank, and thanks. I've got a couple of those as well, or like it, for different things.
It was a neopren sleeve quite like it that I cut in half and use at the moment.
Do you use it when transporting the monitor separetly, or "on" the monitor, like Ted?

Hi Stefan: I use the zippered neoprene case mostly to transport the monitor (It usually lives in my Kata OMB-74 bag). However, I have on occasion slipped it on monitor (when it was mounted on the camera), just to "discourage" people from playing with the monitor if I have stepped away for a moment...
