What mattebox was that?

Spotted on the Vitec Group stand at NAB -- on one of the Reds they had on a Sachtler Artemis -- a nice clipon carbon fiber-looking matte box. Couldn't see a logo on it. Asked one of the Vitec guys what matte box it was, he had no idea, "something that came with a rental kit".

Does anyone know? Or care to guess?

That was the real deal original RED LMB-5 styled 2 stage mattebox on loan from Offhollywood.

I think Eric forgot he works for ARRI for a sec. and thought he was emplyed by Abel!

The MMB-1 and the MFF-1 are dandy inexpensive accessories from ARRI that work great on the RED. The AB-1519 is an Abel product that adapts both of these devices (or anything else designed for lightweight 15mm rod mount) to studio 19mm rods. We also make the AB-1515, which is our Universal Adaptor from lightweight 15mm to Studio 15mm rods. I know Eric's a fan.
