What is this?

Is this kinda like the "Metro" that has some kinda of wireless charger that Intel unveiled last spring?

You include drivers to run Vista tablet on that thing and I'll buy my first mac in 10 years.

I'll even bring myself to wait in line at a mac store... but seeing as no other OEMs have announced similar products I say... not a chance.

When the intel macbook pros were announced for the first time there were already identical systems on the market. I've never seen apple be 'first to market' with any product they didn't design in house. Whatever laptop they're going to announce tommorow is already being made and sold by someone else.

Of course I did have Samsung Q1 Ultra for a while and that thing is hot. A wee bit too slow (new 1.33 ghz processor coming out real soon which I decided to wait for.) so I suppose this could be the first apple UMPC.

In case anyone is confused, that pic is a mockup made by MacPredictions.com to illustrate their theory on what Apple will release. To my knowledge, it's not a "leaked" official image.
