I know how deep this collective pool of knowledge is, and so I have a challenge. This lens is unfindable online, I have brought it to every tech I know and no one has ever seen it.
In short it's an ISCO anamorphic 75mm T2 lens in Arri Standard, was this a set are there others, has someone seen one? It clearly covers more than 6K and the image is incredible despite a few mechanical problems that stop the focus ring alignments.
Always, stare and share... I'm counting on you!

Cool piece of glass -- could you describe the focus ring alignment problem you mentioned? I would love to see some R3Ds from this on Dragon (you mentioned it covers 6K)

It depasses infinity and moves, like you'd need to adjust the alignment on a projection lens. It's impossible to get the image in focus so the tech guys thought it needed a total mechanical overhaul.
I'll shoot some today. It looks like it would cover 8k to be honest!

I saw these on ebay a few years ago. Around 4000 $ give or take. A 50mm and 75mm was available. I believe very few knew anything about these, hence the long time before they got sold out.

I remember asking him if there was a 35mm made aswell, but he said no. I do regret not buying that 50mm though!

Wow, I'd love the 50mm. Were they in good condition, I dont know if it's with paying 2/3k for the repairs. Did he have any camera tests etc?
Thanks!

Yes they seemed to be in prestine condition. Came within a nice wooden box. However, the mount was not PL mount hence the question if it was worth buying. There was also no camera tests, no framegrabs, nothing.

Wikipedia has this:

Iscomorphot
ISCO manufactured an entire range of Iscomorphot anamorphic adapters for the 8mm and 16mm cine markets. These lenses were available in 1.5× and 2× horizontal stretch versions, and are distinct from true Iscoramas.

Looking at that big silver knob that translates roughly From german to (Los - Fest) Loose - Tight
I am guessing that it eaither allows re-oreinting the axis of the anamorphic element or maybe you have an ISCO anamorphic adapter on an ISCO Lens.

I'm gonna upload some screen grabs in a bit. I added the PL mount yesterday... the original is Arri Standard, it was super simple to stick an adapter on the back!

There's nothing mentioned in the Wiki page about this lens, ISCO are known for their adapters
