WHAT IS THIS APP CS 5.5 SYMBOL ??

I was doing some work in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 today and ran into a problem.

The symbol "below" popped up in the work area. I have no idea what it is, what it means, or how to get rid of it.

Your help or advise is appreciated.

Press 'A' to bring your arrow cursor back.

The most usable keys in Premiere for me are "С" - cut, "S" - to switch snap and "V" - back to arrow.

The icon is for a Rolling Edit tool. As mentioned above, press the V key to get your standard selection tool back...
