  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What is the equivalent 35mm focal length of the Fujinon 4.5 ENG style zoom lens.

it's a very wide angle zoom lens used a lot in television. I'm trying to figure out what the equivalent in 35mm focal length would be. There is undoubtedly a crop factor ... but I don't know the math. Is there a calculator, app or conversion table somewhere on the net?

thank you : )

4.5-59mm ... That's the focal length right?

To give the same FOV, something like 12-148.

And double if you count the extender, so...

Yes that's the lens. So the equivalent in 35mm would be (12mm - 148mm) ?
what's the math on that? How do you come up with that?

multiply the HD lens by 2.5 is about right for 35mm motion picture size.
