Good day . Want to share with you idea , about cheap and interest production for any kind of future film .

Imagine you own great script , and have no money to shoot it . All you need is to post it and then RedUsers will shoot it .

With 5000 Cameras across this world , every day you will get any not busy camera for free. Some body will share with you Light , some will share dolly and etc . In the end you will shoot movie , that will cost you very cheap . Best way in this type of production that many people can became part of huge project . Yes you need to pay for actors , but you will not need to pay more .
I Know that it can be funny for some Huge rental houses , but small companies can be interest to do it . Experience , friendship , entreatment , many aspects can help to collect super team .

Movie can take place in 20 Countries , and you don not need to travel to Africa to shoot africa , all you need is ask some body to do it . Just send storyboard and thats all .

What you thing about it .

An interesting concept; I could easily see this being successful for certain ideas and scripts.

As far as the majority of scripts, I am not so sure. My understanding of what makes great films great is that everyone in the decision making chairs is involved in the project from the beginning of conception and all participate in "making the same movie", to quote Sidney Lumet. If the movie is being shot by several people in several countries all with different ideas, then the whole movie wouldn't be seen as a whole, but as a salad of small scenes. Like I said, this could be amazing for a select ideas.

And of course there's what Gavin said :)

This idea has been brought up before in the other 'USER' sites. I only remember the SCARLETUSER idea - end-of-the-world scenario - that would utilize anybody with gear, technical know-how, etc, who was also willing to contribute free work to a mostly online collaborative effort.

The idea was coming along fine - organize the willing into teams based on location, pool resources/knowledge, prep, shoot, cut, deliver - until it came time to write the story. Now we've all seen (post-) apocalyptic stuff before, but the premise the guys came up with was definitely workable IMO. Getting from the online hubbub to the script however...not so easy. Unless somebody is busy writing it up that I don't know about...

I think once the reality of what a *huge* undertaking this is, even when breaking the work up into units, sets in, a lot of people realise that making an EOTW feature for free, in your spare time, relying on others across the globe, is f***ing difficult. So without any persons willing to produce, or even just 'oversee' the project, it gets nowhere fast.

Personally, I liked the idea. It gives rookies (like me) a chance to work with some awesome people and learn from them. Also, meeting your potential colleagues (on the forums) before hand, and developing a rapport with them, is something you most likely will not get the chance to do in any field of work.
