I'm a little confused about the Weapon Dragon to Weapon Helium upgrade program.

I noticed that all upgrade options disappeared from the store.

I received several emails from Red stating that DSMC1 upgrade program ends but nothing about DSMC2.
All my questions I sent to the rep left unanswered.

From the email:

"In short, this program allows existing DSMC1 camera owners to upgrade to the new DSMC2 system at a discounted price. Depending on the camera that you currently own, you could be saving up to $15,000!"

Nothing about Mg -> He upgrade ending.

My search returned nothing. Any info appreciated.

Cheers!

Milan

Red said somewhere in some thread (i read it myself) that there would be more time for magnesium owners

I own magnesium so I remember

As Jake mentioned, it was pointed out previously in one of the upgrade threads that Weapon MG is a DSMC 2 system and the update cut-off is for DSMC 1. If the upgrade paths/options aren't on the site right now I'd guess that it is because they are doing some clean-up and re-org as the cut-off just ended on Sep 28th. They'll be back up there soon, I imagine. It seems like RED, for the most part, tries to take care of those who buy their systems so I wouldn't worry mate. Just my .02

It also sounded like they were about to open a path for Epic-W guys to move to Helium Weapon. Although, Brent was pretty vocal about how there may still be an upgrade path from Weapon Mg to Helium Weapon... it may or may not be as good as the one previously offered. He was often quoting "bird in hand" - which I've assumed meant having the upgrade option at the time might be better than waiting for something better and having no upgrade option in the future. Although, I'm sure it could be interpreted in so many different ways.
