I highly doubt it.

This was one of Reds early concept designs.

this seems like a doable concept. but hey! what do i know im not really a 3D guy. does this still seem like a good idea 3d rig ?

This rig isn't very usefully because the minimum interaxial distance between the two camera is too far apart. Beam splitters are great because you can get a interaxial distance as close as 0. When projecting to a 60ft screen what may seem like a reasonable interaxial distance from this rig ends up creating a huge divergence that makes it impossible for our eyes to read.
