What Canon-mount wide-zoom might be similar to the Tokina 11-16 but with a longer throw and, preferably, more useful barrel markings? The Tokina gets rave reviews so, naturally, I'm considering it. However, I'd sure love a more cine-like lens interface.

why is the title of this "What happened to the list" on the scarlet page, and on the very top of this page, but then above the post the title is "Something similar to the Tokina 11-16?" It is confusing.

Anyway, if you want the exact same lens with those specifications you can get the duclous 11-16, its the same optics but rehoused for cinema. Its PL only though.

I changed the content and thought I had changed the title of the thread, but was unsuccessful. I had asked about the list but it was clear the question was being ignored.
